If in doubt the best advice is to get a strap that's a little long rather than a little short as long always works better! For example, if your wrist size is 200mm then you should choose size ‘L’ instead of ‘M’.

Pick one thing, and do it well. Hand-crafting their products from their home studio, Anton and Victoria surely embody this ethos more so than most artisans. The selection of materials is impeccable, from the fine Italian Buttero leathers, the unique heritage of which needs no introduction, to the high-grade stainless steel hardware. It’s easy, however, to research and choose high-quality raw materials, given the capital. Where Anton and Victoria truly deserve the most praise is the execution of their vision. Amalgamating their excellent choice of beautiful materials and their design aesthetic into a harmonious package using impeccable craftsmanship, they have created something truly unique in a sea of competitors. I first came across Anton and Victoria in my search for a high quality leather strap, that is not only made from excellent materials, but designed and crafted to endure the test of time. Coming from a long background of automatic watches, I was used to excellent straps from a range of pedigrees, from small studios like Anton and Victoria’s, to the big name workshops of Omega, Breitling, Rolex, Nomos, etc. I was sorely disappointed and frustrated by the lack of true craftsmanship available on the market for Apple Watch straps. I could have just bought some hardware and used my own straps, but I was so impressed by Anton and Victoria’s vision that I decided to support them. Every part of their straps scream “hand-crafted in a workshop”, not “printed out in a factory”. From the clearly hand-stitched threads and leather tool markings, to the hand-cut straps and keepers, it’s best described as “human”. Unlike so many up and coming brands, there is no pretence here. They don’t claim to compete with the impeccable craftsmanship of high-end luxury manufacturers “without the middle man”, nor do they approach using the modern throwaway mindset. They make humble, honest products that are beautiful and built to last. Every element is strikingly well executed especially for relatively inexperienced craftsmen, however, there are elements that always remind you that someone sat in their workshop and poured their time, passion and skill into this piece, making it feel so wonderfully personal. The craftsmanship is excellent, and they’re clearly confident about it, as they stand by their products. This is so refreshing, as the majority of brands just want to take your money and throw you to their labyrinth of customer services if there’s a problem. It’s a bonus that they’re a local small family-run business that is highly conscious of sustainability, which is such a huge factor for a rapidly growing number of customers, especially in the younger generations. I hope that over time, Anton and Victoria grow their brand to produce more excellent small leather goods, as they have a truly special formula here.
